VYBE & Central Youth Union: Global Expansion of Vietnamese Startups

In March 2025, representatives of the Vietnamese Young Business Association in Europe (VYBE) met with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hanoi. This significant event aimed to report on the establishment of VYBE and explore collaboration opportunities to strengthen the global Vietnamese startup ecosystem.

During the meeting, VYBE representatives presented the organization’s formation, mission, and development plans. VYBE was founded to connect young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Europe, fostering collaboration in business, technology, and investment. The report emphasized the importance of building a support network for Vietnamese startups in international markets, particularly in Europe—where abundant opportunities exist alongside challenges for young businesses. VYBE aims to bridge the gap by providing access to financial resources, technology, and an extensive business network.

The Central Youth Union highly appreciated VYBE’s initiative in establishing a Vietnamese entrepreneurial community in Europe. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting VYBE’s efforts in fostering innovation and startup development. Both parties discussed upcoming collaborative programs, including:

  • Vietnam-Europe Startup Connectivity Program: Helping young businesses access support systems in both regions.

  • Startup Conferences & Forums: Sharing experiences, insights into market trends, and the latest technological advancements.

  • Mentorship & Training Programs: Enhancing Vietnamese startups’ management capabilities, fundraising strategies, and international scalability.

Additionally, the Central Youth Union expressed its interest in co-organizing global startup competitions for young Vietnamese entrepreneurs, providing motivation and practical exposure for aspiring business leaders.

This meeting marked a crucial milestone in the collaboration between VYBE and the Central Youth Union. Their commitment to supporting VYBE will not only expand its network but also create a strong driving force for Vietnamese startups to reach global markets. Moving forward, VYBE will continue implementing impactful initiatives, engaging more young businesses, and building a robust startup ecosystem that elevates Vietnamese entrepreneurship on the international stage.
