On June 7, 2025, on the occasion of the series of events celebrating the 35th anniversary of Vietnam – EU diplomatic relations, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao – Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Business Support of Hue City and Ms. Tran Ha My – President of the Association of Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs in Europe (VYBE) represented through exchanges and agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the following contents:
The two sides agreed to establish a cooperative relationship to enhance investment promotion, trade and business support activities, contributing to expanding cooperation opportunities between enterprises in Hue city and the Vietnamese business community in Europe.
Based on its functions and tasks, the Center will act as a focal point for connecting, supporting information provision, coordinating the organization of trade and investment promotion activities and supporting local enterprises to access markets and suitable partners in the European region, through the VYBE network. Specifically, the two sides will cooperate on 6 main contents.
First, closely coordinate, actively exchange information, propose solutions to enhance cooperation between Hue city and European partners, support local socio-economic development;
Second, coordinate the organization of training programs, improve the capacity of enterprises in Hue city; organize seminars, conferences, and programs to promote Hue city in Europe to support local enterprises to promote and seek cooperation with European partners;
Third, support the building of effective direct relationships, create conditions and connections between Hue city enterprises and European partners to promote investment, trade, tourism and business cooperation between enterprises of the two sides;
Fourth, create favorable conditions for VYBE member enterprises and Hue city enterprises in production and business cooperation; at the same time, promote investment and trade promotion activities in potential and strong areas of the city such as: education – training, healthcare, labor – employment, start-up and innovation; processing – manufacturing industry, cultural industry, high-tech agriculture, information technology, industrial park infrastructure development, logistics, and export of goods. Through that, the two sides promote the expansion of domestic and foreign markets for products, goods and services, improve the competitiveness and operational efficiency of the business community;
Fifth, coordinate the exchange and sharing of information on requirements for product and goods quality standards; packaging, product labels, potential market development prospects for each group of products and goods, etc. to facilitate the business activities of Hue city enterprises wishing to expand to the European market and vice versa; Sixth, all cooperation activities must be discussed and agreed upon in terms of objectives, results, implementation methods and specific responsibilities of the two Parties before being implemented.
