Nicolas Tran

Dr. Nicolas TRAN, PhD in Materials Science and MBA, is currently the Business Development Manager at Idemitsu Innovation Europe AG. With over 10 years of experience in the battery industry, he specializes in the development of battery technologies for electric vehicles (EV) and solid-state electrolytes. He holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC Mannheim and a PhD in Materials Science from Université Bordeaux1. Before joining Idemitsu, he worked extensively in developing new technologies and expanding market reach.

As a member of the VYBE Advisory Board, Dr. Nicolas TRAN brings a strategic vision for the development of technology and business in the battery industry, especially in EV batteries and Solid-State Batteries (ASSB). He applies a growth mindset to help businesses overcome challenges and promote sustainable development.
